John Maxwell Team Gathering in Houston – August 28, 2013
Scott Fay hosted a gathering of JMT members and others interested in learning about the JMT in Houston last week at a local hotel. I think it is great that Scott is hosting these gatherings while on the road working with clients. Over 20 JMT members and their guests showed up to share experiences from the recent Live Training and for some team members, a chance to share our experiences from Guatemala.
Scott updated everyone on the upcoming launch of John Maxwell’s book “Sometimes You Win, Sometimes You Learn” and the John Maxwell Leadership Award which will be presented in February 2014 at the next JMT Live Training event.
The evening was a great opportunity to connect with other JMT members in the Houston area and we even connected with an out of town John Maxwell team member from Orlando who was on business in Houston last week. One of the great things about the John Maxwell Team is the community of members who are so generous and giving. Whenever you travel to another town, there are members who welcome the opportunity to connect, share, and want to get to know you.
So, remember to post that you will be visiting and look forward to an opportunity to gather with your JMT family.
We are going to have to channel the ever ready professionalism of the JMT live event photographers a bit better. They are great at capturing the emotion and the spirit of the Live Training event.
While everyone was talking and socializing we completely forgot to take a picture while the entire group was there. When the remaining small group was ready to call it an evening we realized we forgot to memorialize the evening and had our waiter take this picture.
