Donald Williams II – Gaithersburg, Maryland

Ret. Lieutenant Col. Williams spent 20 years as a military officer in the U.S. Army. For more than 25 years, he has focused on serving youth, first in Church and then in the community. Nine years ago, he & his wife co-founded Unity Christian Fellowship, Inc. (UCF), to address the critical need to mobilize the community around the vital challenge of saving young minority men. UCF brings mentors & leaders together to find solutions to reverse the trends regarding the alarming & unfavorable disparities facing our young men. His leadership has impacted thousands of students and their families. Through a series of enrichment programs held throughout the year, he strategically has raised student achievement, developed student leaders, strengthen family relations, and partnered with school leaders (K-16). Some of these programs consist of – SAT/ACT Boot Camp, U-STEM Fun Zone, Monthly Educational and Life Skills Meetings, Annual Dream Chaser College Tour, and a Health Program Community Day. His culminating signature event “Game Changers Conference” brings mentors & students together to learn from a keynote speaker & breakout workshops facilitated by leaders from various industries.
