Mike Camp enjoys helping develop others through mentoring and writing leadership lessons aimed at story telling. He is the author of “The Leader in the Mirror” and most recently, was named “Top 100 Under 50 Emerging Leaders” by Diversity MBA Magazine.

Mike is the Director, Global People Operations & Support for Walmart. He began his career at Wal-Mart in 1998 as an Assistant Manager, and served in many leadership positions over the past 19 years. He is also a veteran of the US Air Force, and recently worked to create the Veterans Welcome Home Commitment which has hired more than 250,000 veterans.

Mike is an active Board Director for the Girl Scouts-Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas (Man Enough to Be A Girl Scout Leader) and he serves as a Head Coach for multiple youth sports in his community. He is the founder of M3 DADS, an organization aimed at helping dads across the globe take on their most important role in life, being a father who Mentors, Models and Motivates their children. Mike Founded the group “Books For Bentonville” where corporate leaders go to local elementary schools throughout the year to celebrate diversity in our communities by reading books to students and discussing the power of different cultures. Through the book reading events this past year, Mike has been able to raise more than $10,000 for elementary school libraries in his community. Mike also serves as a Watchdog DAD at his daughter’s middle school.
